Let's find 2 things of its cataegory that you can think and you must watch, taste, listen, experience. The shops and the restaurants that I am refering to are located in Paris. As long as I was in France for the last 3 weeks, I am going to suggest you the top things to do in Paris:
FOOD:
1. Snails (in french escargots). Either or not you like the idea of eating snails, in France you must taste at least once the traditional french snails.

2. Quiche Lorraine. It doesn't matter if you have eaten quiche in your country, because it can not be compared with the quiche that you will taste in the french atmosphere of a fancy restaurant or at least in the canteen of your college.
3. Macarons. France is the country of origin of macarons! Don't rush yourself buying them from the top shop in Paris ''Laduree'', because it is really expensive (4 macarons cost 10 euros). Choose a little shop from your neighborhood which is indicated in making nice macarons.

RESTAURANTS:
1. Berthillon. The best ice cream in Paris with Amorino in my opinion, which makes an ice cream- flower. They both have logical prices and amazing flavors.

2. La Coupole. It is an expensive french restaurant that you must go once if you are in Paris. I suggest you to take the traditional escargots and if you want to take a beef, just keep in your mind that it will be raw!
3. Cafe in Montmartre. Drink a coffee in the picturesque streets of Montmartre with all the artists and painters of the neighborhood.
WHAT TO WATCH:
1. Festivals. Before you start your trip in France, check out the festivals that will take place in the city that you will visit. This is how you achieve to feel the everyday life of french people! The most festival and happenings are in summer...so you had better organise your trip in this period.
2. Street performers. In Montpellier I found an amazing band (Jazz Gang), which played my favourite swing music and I was relly amazed. In Avignon there was a man with his bike and he was doing amazing things with it. Finally in Paris I saw a family roller skating and dancing betweeen many obstacles.
3. Cinema. Yes cinema in french! Why not? Even if you will not understand anyhting from the movie, it will be a nice ''adventure'' for your trip.
*TIP : there are some summer cinemas in which you can go and watch films in a park for free!
FESTIVALS:
1. Festival of Avignon. The whole city is full of posters advertising some performances and theatres, and of course many teams of actors strolling around the city with their costumes on in order to advertise their work ( the costumes are the classic medieval french ones, in the summer hot!).
2. Bastille Day. In the morning of 14th of July there are parades in Champs Elysees and french flags everywhere and in the night (starting at 23.00) there are amazing fireworks especially near the Eiffel Tower. It is really amazing, you have to watch the fireworks!

SHOPPING:
1. Abercrombie & Fitch. I was amazed when I saw the ''palace'' of Abercrombie on the avenue of Champs Elysees. Outside the shop there was a nice garden and many security guards next to the huge doors. Inside the shop there was gold everywhere (on the stairs, on the walls) and many beautiful murals. All these luxury things, made me believe that this shop was a palace. By the way, it is an expensive shop, but it is a nice experince to visit it once.
2. Pylones. In every french city you can discover this shop, which sells weird things for your house (from cups to combs).

GAMES:
1. Pentaque. The traditional french game in the sunny days. This game requires 2 teams in a park with the professional balls.
