Besides my last article about the typical schedule of a summer camp, I would like to tell you my personal experience and opinion from my last trip in France. So, this trip was something different for me, because I achieved to live in the everyday life of the French. During the first 5 days (and the last 5) that I was in Paris and I stayed in a greek-french family and in Montpellier where I went in a summer camp, I learnt a lot about their everyday life and the local civilization.
PARIS
DAY 1: I arrived in Paris after a transfer flight in Athens. In the airport, a taxi driver was waiting for me, holding a label with my name. For the first 1 hour in Paris, I was continually talking with my mum via Skype. When we arrived at the family that I would stay at, a note outside the door was waiting for me : ''Olga we are waiting for you, because you are our guest''!!! I went straight to bed, because I was really tired and before I slept I had organised what I wanted to do the next day that I would be completely alone...

DAY 2: Today I decided to stroll around my neighbοrhood, because this would be my first time that I was in a froeign country
ALONE! There aren't a lot ofthings to do in that part of Paris and that's why I decided to do soem travel ideas, like: write your
name on the map and follow this random way, or take a photo of various posters about festivals. I went out of the house with a map in my hands...and the ADVENTURE started! I was confused at first, then I get lost once but that was okey. Finally I found the street that I was looking for: the Rue de Vaugirard, the longest street in Paris (around 4 km). I didn't shop anything and after 1 hour I went back home. After that the kids came back home and we went at a super market. Soo, that was my first adventurous day!

DAY 3: That was the day when I decided to take the bus alone and go to the Eiffel Tower! I did know what to do in that area from the moment that I booked my tickets for France! Top attractions:
1. Eiffel Tower
2. Champs de Mars (a park next to the Eiffel Tower)
3. Ile de cygnes (the island of swans)
4. Statue of Liberty (no 2)
5. Walk next to the Seine River
So, I arrived at the bus station ''Ecole Mlitaire'' and I walked through the Champs de Mars park to finally see the enormous Eiffel Tower. I felt amazing when I saw the Eiffel Tower, it was so...huge!!! Also, you know, the only language that you listen is chinese! Because there are tourists everywhere. I sat on a fench and I met 2 chinese girls and I asked them to take me a photo. Afterwards I bought a bottle of water (3 euros) and I started my river walk. I accidently found the 11-metres island...I was strolling around this calm island when I saw the Statue of Liberty. The island was full of beautiful trees and I was watching random people around me, hanging out, jogging etc.
After that I met C. and we went to the school to take the kids and we went in a playground to play. When we returned home, P. and I were playing MONOPOLY in french...I have to say that it had really fun!

DAY 4: From the moment that I woke up, I started playing MONOPOLY with P., we watched together Peppa Pig in french and then we took a walk around the neighborhood, looking for a french SIM. Then we took Mc Doanlds and a had a picnic at a local park with nice music. Afterwards we took a walk on an old tramway, an amazing place with a lot of trees, while we were eating an ice cream. Then we had to go at a celebration-bazar thing in the new elementary school of P., so I had the chance to see how a french school actually looks like. Finally I visited a shopping mall with C. and the only thing that I bought was the Phosphore magazine (a magazine for teenagers talking about school, university and everyday life).
